Cards, cards and more cards

The best part of coming back home is that I am being shown all these amazing crafty things and talents I have. Beckie makes tons of cards...extremely cute cards. She introduced me to this fun hobby (something I desperately needed), only problem is everything has to be perfect on my cards. Beckie can bust out 24 cards in the time it takes me to make 6. But it is good memories and lots of fun watching all our shows and series.

The Curiosity of Little Hands

One afternoon we had thought we heard Miss A up from her nap but soon dismissed that thought as there was no more noise coming from her room. A little later Keenan had gotten up and checked on Miss A. Not seconds after he entered the room he called my and Beckie into the girls room to see what our little friend had been up to. Apparently she was awake but found something to entertain her. Maybe if I had an alligator zipper on this bag she would have been deterred a little longer.

Who likes burnt bees wax?

So to save money but still do my pampering I learned how to wax my own hair. I was getting ready to show Beckie my mad skills when I smelled something coming from the kitchen. The wax that normally took 6 minutes to melt in my microwave didn't need that long in Beckie's freakishly high powered microwave. When I went into the kitchen and opened the door I saw that more then just the wax was melted. Below are the results of too much time at high heat. NOTE: This is the second time I have done this in her microwave.
