Oh how the time flies...

I am really bad at this blogging thing. I'm gonna blame it on the fact that I lost my camera and not that I just lose track of time. What has happened in the last few months, hmmm. I completed my CNA program and passed the state exam with flying colors. I am now able to work in the Illinois medical field, not to just get that job. Upon finishing the Spring semester I enrolled in the summer session as well. I am now down to 2 classes (from the 4 I originally signed up to take) and am feeling so much better. I took the NLN exam for fun, yes I took a test for fun and also to see what the lay out was like and what I am going to need practice with. I am just crossing my fingers that I will be ready to apply for the Fall 2011 Nursing program come next January.
I have been loving spending all this time with my little man and am still in shock that a year has almost already passed from when I held him in my arms that first time. He has accomplish so much. Some of his first are: flying on a plane, leaving the mainland, going to Hawaii, playing on the beach and eating the sand, catching his 1st wave with Uncle K & not getting sunburned (unlike his mom). He also has 4 teeth, but along with those teeth has come some pretty bad ear infections. Either they have never healed or else he just has some bad ears. I have talked to his pediatrician about the matter and he has to have 2 more in the next year in order for tubes to be considered. Not into having this procedure, but I also want him to be healthy.
He doesn't let this little ear infections get him down, Lil G keeps on keeping on and tried to reach the stars. He has been more daring with his walking and has decided that sometimes getting up and using two limbs instead of all four is quicker. We went to a 3rd of July BBQ and he was in love with this jumpy jump/water slide combo. I looked at him and said if you want the water you need to walk to it. So he did just that, walked 15 steps over the this pool and looked up at me, smiled and clapped. I have to say that I am so proud of this little bear.
So as of right now this is the abridged updated version about a boy and his mommy.
